Couture and criticism
Look, if I'm going to have a press conference, I'm going to dress up for it. It annoys me that I get criticised for being well dressed. Yes I'm holidays, but what do you expect? If I lobbed up in some boardies and a Billabong t-shirt, people would say I wasn't taking my role seriously. I am, after all, the alternative Prime Minister.

I reckon you're wrong there Kev, but they might critisise you for your speling.
And if you do change your mind, you might think about forgoing your usual RM's with the boardies. Pete G. should be able to give some advice, unless he's strayed too far from his roots. Billabong and Mambo have been quite successful as elaborately transformed export brands, so you could use the opportunity of showing off your new attire to get in a word or two about your new exports plans.
Oh yeh, maybe it wouldn't be wise to replace RM's by
Crocs,...
( and certainly not the cheapo chinese clones, available from Target, $8.98, that would be a way too dnagerous bag of mixed messages, given your rep. for someone who's idea of party supplies is Jatz without the cheese)..
